Qatar Football Association (QFA) President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed al Thani has sent a message of solidarity to the international soccer family in light of exceptional circumstances the global football is going through in the face of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
QFA's gesture comes within the framework of the distinguished relations that bind it with the global football family, as well as the strengthening of joint work between the Qatar Football Association (QFA) and all continental federations, with which the supreme message that football carries at this time is reflected in solidarity and joint action among all members of the football family in the world.
The QFA president sent the messages of solidarity to FIFA President Gianni Infantino, President of Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim al Khalifa, President of the European Union of Football Association (UEFA) Aleksander Ceferin, President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Ahmad Ahmad, President of CONCACAF Victor Montagliani, President of the Confederation Federation A. Domingo, and President of the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Lambert Maltock.
In his messages , Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed al Thani affirmed the cooperation, solidarity and joint work between QFA and all continental federations in these difficult days in the world, especially that all have become in same boat in the face of the coronavirus, expressing confidence in the safety measures taken by the football family to face this pandemic , and wishes the return of football life as it was, and the return of tournaments and football matches in all football competitions in the countries of the world.
