A kilo of hamour cannot exceed QR37 as ministry sets price limits for 35 types of fish sold in Qatar

A kilo of medium-sized hamour cannot be priced more than QR37 as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry sets price limits for 35 types of fish sold in the country.
The list, which set prices according to the size of the fish (small, medium and large), applies to all retail outlets across the country until March 31, 2020 and is subject to extension, the ministry said in a statement.
"Each violator may be subject to the penalties stipulator in applicable laws, decision and regulations," the ministry said.
The ministry has urged the public to report non-compliance on its hotline 16 001.
