In an external memo addressed to operators in the private healthcare sector in Qatar, Noor Abdulla Mohammed al Mulla, the Acting Director of Healthcare Facilities Licensing and Accreditation Department, also issued two other directives.
All dental clinics have been asked to open only for emergency or critical procedures. All other clinics have been asked to reduce their staff strength by two-third of the total.
The remaining one-third can be present to attend to the patients in person, but after having taken strict infection prevention and control (IPC) measures, the memo said.
