The Kuwaiti government has decided to suspend studies in all schools, universities and colleges from March 1 for a period of two weeks, according to reports.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health on Wednesday reported six new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, taking the country's total infections up to 18.
The new cases are Kuwaiti citizens coming from Iran, the ministry said in a press statement to (KUNA).
All reported COVID-19 cases are in good health and receiving medical treatment at a hospital equipped to deal with coronavirus cases, it added.
It called on citizens and residents to adhere to the instructions issued by the specialized authorities in order to maintain the health of everyone.
