A tip-off that one of the accused was allegedly operating a fraud, promising to double his victims’ money, led to the arrests. The authorities raided the home from which the alleged act was being carried out and found a large number of counterfeit currencies, paper scraps and some chemical compounds. The accused, all of whom hail from an African country, have been referred to competent authorities for further action.
