Travel on Doha Metro will be costlier if you don't have a metro card. In order to minimise the use of paper tickets and their toll on the environment, Doha Metro has increased the prices for paper tickets on all classes while keeping the charges for the metro card unchanged.
Single journey on a paper ticket on Standard class will cost QR3 instead of QR2 from Friday onwards, while that on Goldclub class has been hiked by QR5 to QR15. Day pass that was QR6 on Standard and QR30 on Goldclub now costs QR9 and QR45 respectively.
Single journey Standard and Goldclub travel on metro card remains unchanged at QR2 and QR10 respectively. Standard and goldclub day passes cost QR6 and QR30.
