The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani opened Doha Forum 2019 under the theme "Reimagining Governance in a Multipolar World" at Doha Sheraton Hotel on Saturday morning.
The opening was attended by HE President of the Republic of Rwanda Paul Kagame, HE President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, HE President of the Republic of El Salvador Nayib Bukele, HE Prime Minister of Malaysia Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, HE Vice President of the Republic of Ecuador Otto Sonnenholzner, HE Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya Fayez Mustafa Al Sarraj, HE Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Hassan Ali Khaire, HE Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda Gaston Browne and HE President of the General Assembly of the United Nations Tijjani Muhammad-Bande.
The opening was also attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, a number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs and Ministers of sisterly and friendly countries and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the State, an elite of decision makers, intellectuals in the fields politics, economics, energy, media, culture and representatives of international institutions and civil society organizations.
