The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Doha LLC(G) announced its newly elected set of council officers for the fiscal year 2019-2020 following an election held at Ezdan Hotel Doha recently. 
The new leadership of Picpa Doha LLC (G) is spearheaded by Elmer H. Espiritu as President. Alvin R. Polido was elected Senior Vice President and Abdul Rahim G. Gandamra as Vice President. 
The election was presided by outgoing organisation president Sharon C. dela Cruz who is now part of the Board of Directors (BOD). Aside from the normal election procedure, PICPA Doha LLC(G)’s members of BOD and past presidents attended the election and delivered their inspiring messages and their testimonies on how the organisation molded them on what they are right now.
As part of its normal election procedure, the incumbent Senior Vice President and Vice President will be the next President and Senior Vice President, respectively. While the Vice President post should be coming from the incumbent officers other than what were mentioned above.
The other newly-elected council officers are Pauline Jane U. Borja as Secretary, Fredelene P. Magdaug as Treasurer, Rowena T. Cahintong and Christian Dave M. Barrameda as Accountants, Micha Lizette M. Pataueg as Auditor and Wilhelm I. Jayobo as Press Release Officer. 
Aside from the aforementioned positions, PICPA Doha LLC(G) also has Chairpersons for various committees handled by Terence Jay V. Marquez for Education, Vernie Chris A. Zabala for CPD Accreditation, Jumel Carlo M. Campos for Community Affairs, Leo Z. Jimena for Sports, Arnold E. Tamayo and Christine Hanna B. Gonzales for Ways and Means.
Michelle Eugene L. Baraquio and Chester C. Mendoza are in charge on the Committee for Membership, Rey E. Dionela for Corporate Social Responsibility, Sherman C. Ilustre for Social Media Relations and Ikhlas A. Hassan for Governance and Compliance who is also the BOD Secretary.
PICPA Doha is one of the recognised chapters of PICPA National  which is the organisation of choice for professional development among Filipino finance professionals. Among its core visions is upholding and maintaining high standards in the accountancy profession through training, seminars and workshops for its members and promoting the Philippine CPA qualification among its associates by assisting them in the conduct of review classes to prepare them to sit in the Philippine Licensure Board Examination.
