It was a memorable occasion as a large number of Pakistani expatriates from Mesaieed, Doha, Al Khor and Dukhan attended an event to celebrate Eid Al Fitr at Al Banush Club, Mesaieed, recently.
The fun-filled and entertaining event was organised by the Mesaieed Pakistani Community. 
The programme started with the recitation of Holy Quran by Hafiz Hammad Ahmad. Waseem Shah delivered a speech on the ‘Life of an industry employee’. Javed Bhatti presented a comedy play, while Farooq Ahmad and Zahid Sharif entertained the audience with their hilarious poetry. 
Jamshed Shahzad Bajwa regaled the guests with immortal songs. A beautiful and heart touching poem on overseas Pakistanis was recited by well-known international poet Sanwal Abbasi. 
Meanwhile, Muhammad Ashraf Siddiqui presented an Urdu translation book titled ‘Qatar Ki Naaka Bandi’ (Blockade of Qatar) to the Mesaieed Pakistani Community. 
Also, much to the excitement of the audience, folk dance Jhoomer was performed by organising committee members.
In their speeches, Adeel Akbar, Riyaz Ahmed Bakali, Muhammad Ashraf Siddiqui, Rana Anwar Ali, Saleem Baloch, Muhammad Ajmal Choudhary and Dr Tariq Masood hailed the Mesaieed Pakistani Community members and their hard work for the community . 
Furqan Ahmad Paracha conducted the programme. Later, the guests were treated with a sumptuous dinner.
